Why should you stay at Anjajavy le lodge ?

Anjajavy peninsula gathers the most representative samples of Madagascar’s iconic treasures namely the emblematic baobabs, the tsingy, the “jajavy” tree, several species of lemurs, reptiles, some of the rarest birds in the world and a great variety of endemic fauna and flora.

Anjajavy le lodge preserves this endemic biodiversity in its 1030 ha private reserve and closely works with the local community to manage a 9773 ha protected area both terrestrial and marine. Besides, the lodge is the ideal place to observe lemurs in their natural habitat as they roam freely in our gardens, at the Oasis and throughout the forest.

The Anjajavy peninsula boasts picturesque landscapes such as 12 untouched beaches, the jaw-dropping Moramba Bay and limestone forests or tsingy.

Lastly, the lodge welcomes all types of travellers.

This place will touch your soul. It’s truly special and more than just a hotel or lodge. They do so much good for the local community and are very involved in conservation. This trip was unforgettable. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.

We loved it! Everything from the exquisite food, the huge cabins overlooking the sea, the large swimming pool … and the wildlife. Some of the animals you had to go and look for, but tea in the gardens every afternoon with the sifakas leaping between the trees around you is something that I won’t forget. The guides, Rado, Paul and Lucien, were all exceptionally good, possessing good English, great knowledge and above all a huge passion for their surroundings. We learnt a lot and had some thoroughly enjoyable treks both by day and by night, looking at lemurs, sifakas, birds and an assortment of interesting reptiles. The giant tortoise rewilding project was fascinating and I look forward to seeing the progress that it makes over the years. The whole team really made our trip truly special and went out of their way to give us an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone. And I really mean that: Thank You.

Enchanting

We loved everything about this property. The location was magical. What made it special was the courtesy and charm of all the staff. The meals were exceptional. The choice of excursions was huge. I wish I could have stayed longer and participated in more activities. We were fortunate to be there when they organized a unique traditional dance show for the guests and visited the local village on market day on Sunday. Everything I wanted to experience in Madagascar was realized: seeing the lemurs, seeing the baobabs, seeing the tsingys, meeting the villagers, and more. Enchanting island!

Anjajavy le Lodge is located between the seaside and a private preserved forest populated by lemurs. Endemic fauna and flora are abundant. The hotel offers top-of-the-range and tailor-made services, including water sports and nature discovery activities, with or without a guide. The paradise

Paradise clearly exists in Madagascar, and especially in Anjajavy, a haven of peace and calm in this paradise lost in the middle of this Reserve full of surprises all the time. The hotel is magical, with its rosewood bungalows surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, curious lemurs, and beautiful birds. The restaurant is excellent and always offers local products prepared by an outstanding Chef. The visits are made by experienced guides who make you discover this still virgin nature. The best is the teatime at the Oasis, a dream garden. Thanks to the whole team and to the manager, who is always ready to listen.
